Account Executive Partnership Marketing At Vancouver Arena LP - CEN/Exec FT

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Description

Committed to service excellence the Account Executive Partnership Marketing is responsible for meeting and exceeding the ongoing commitments and contractual details that occur from the commencement of the partner relationship to the expiry of the agreement.

Department: Marketing & Corporate Partnerships
Reports to: Senior Manager Partner Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:
Committed to service excellence the Account Executive is responsible for meeting and exceeding the ongoing commitments and contractual details that occur from the commencement of the partner relationship to the expiry of the agreement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)
Manage and activate assigned partnership accounts
Work closely with the Senior Manager Partner Marketing identify pursue and develop advertising and partnership opportunities with existing partnerships
Assist with the enhancement of current offerings for partners and drive incremental revenue
Work with clients to achieve a detailed understanding of partnership goals and objectives for all assigned accounts and articulate and execute same with internal collaborators
Implement in conjunction with Directors Managers partners in game entertainment & events a wide range of promotional opportunities including Canucks game nights in-arena promotions and out-of-arena consumer promotions
Create annual reports according to account responsibilities on an ongoing basis throughout the season
Work closely with the Operations Department to ensure that signage maintenance development and design is completed to match the partner's contractual agreement and signage inventory
Assist with the creation of new partnership sales proposals including writing formatting and proofing proposals
Assist in creating proposals to up-sell existing clients
Assist in the production of premium items with an emphasis on game night sponsors
Coordinate special events in accordance with the Activation Annual Business Plan
Set up annual meetings in conjunction with directors on specific secondary accounts to review all marketing plans for the next fiscal year survey satisfaction levels and up sell opportunities according to account responsibilities
Work on various specific programs with the Senior Manager Partner Marketing
Execute client hospitality requests meetings and game-day hospitality requirements
Work closely with Impark Security Housekeeping and Operation/Maintenance on event-related issues
Work on Repucom reporting and analysis of data for Corporate Partnerships
Work with the CRM and inventory management tools.
Work event nights as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years experience in the area of sponsorship activation promotions and marketing preferably within an advertising agency environment or professional sports team
Preference will be given to candidates with a degree or diploma in business administration or marketing
Experience planning and coordinating events conferences and/or promotions
Excellent people skills with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within an organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience drafting and editing business proposals would be an asset
Highly organized with outstanding administrative and time management skills
Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high pressure environment
Dynamic hard working confident; a go-getter with drive and initiative
Committed to ensuring superior customer service and supporting the team
Solid word processing and spreadsheet skills. Working knowledge of desktop publishing software would be an asset
Self-starter who is able to multitask and work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required
