Director of Retail Marketing & Strategy

We are looking for a Director of Retail Marketing and Strategy to lead our retail business. This is an opportunity to work on the full spectrum of a beauty business. Core responsibility of the job is to develop the REN business with our retail partners, particularly Sephora. That will be done through:
a. Leading the team to create compelling omni-channel customer experiences through both retailer dotcom and in-store channels.
b. Ensuring our marketing strategies (for the total brand, core product or new launches) are 360, authentic, and driving results in our retail business.
c. Managing the North America Sales team to deliver results in brick and mortar.
d. Cultivating strong retailer relationships.
e. Developing strategic promotional strategy: sampling, discovery kits, gift sets.
f. Detailed understanding of business results used to drive future plans.
g. Leading coordination among cross-functional partners, including planning/forecasting, marketing, supply chain, global team to fuel the North American business.
h. Providing key strategic input and retailer insights into all aspects of marketing - new product development, social media, product positioning, marketing activations.
i. Providing key input into financial aspects of the business - forecasting, budgeting, etc.
j. Whatever else needs to be done. We are a small, nimble team without much hierarchy. The work is always changing!
