The Senior Manager, Marketing Capabilities reports to Director, Talent Optimization & Development – Prepared Foods, and is a member of the Talent & Culture Center of Excellence team. This role leads the marketing capabilities training efforts for Prepared Foods, including Retail Packaged Brands, Foodservice, and Chief Marketing Office. This role was established to ensure that all marketers and associated supporting functions (approximately 500 participants) have a clear and common understanding of Tyson’s marketing capability focus areas.
Education: Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, business, marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: 6+ years of direct experience in marketing. Experience creating and/or instructing marketing training programs a plus. Soft skills and/or leadership training and facilitation experience required.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Special Skills: Relentless focus on execution, communication, and delivering results; proven experience building marketing capabilities for future organizational growth; ability to manage several projects, cross-functional teams and external resources.
Supervisory: May manage a group of Team Members who perform same or similar duties.
Travel: 6-10 domestic trips per year
