Job Description

Manager, Culture & Community


We are seeking a passionate and solution-oriented program manager and strategist to lead Twitter’s Culture and Community programs. This person will be responsible for supporting and executing key global programs that allow us to engage, elevate and amplify the diverse voices of the vibrant communities we serve. From developing innovative concepts and programs to managing consistent comms outreach, and driving internal coordination and alignment with several stakeholders, this role will be charged with powering candid conversations and deepening connections. We are looking for a true collaborator to partner, support, and help drive narratives for community engagements and events. We need a strong team player with the ability to expertly spearhead multiple initiatives at the same time with a strategic mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and an approachable and flexible attitude.


What you'll do

  • Execute, manage and grow our #TwitterVoices program
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams from brand strategy and content partnerships to receive and prioritize incoming requests and opportunities to consult or engage regarding user communities
  • Partner with our Global Culture and Community Director to develop a comprehensive community engagement program that clearly outlines goals, mission, capabilities, owners, etc. and own subsequent communication and follow ups
  • Coordinate with internal events, global office leads, Culture Committee ambassadors, IT, facilities and support teams on all aspects of engagement planning and execution
  • Work with internal communications team to keep our people connected to what’s happening on and off platform - from external B2B executions (CES, Cannes, etc.) to major platform events and conversations (Black History Month, etc.)
  • Serve as an evangelist and ambassador of Twitter culture, values, and #purpose
  • Interface with Twitter analysts to compile and organize trends, behaviors and data from on platform user groups for team review and learnings
  • Help research and prepare presentations, reports and other communications
  • Develop methods to streamline and organize all workstreams, projects, data, and requests for the Culture and Community team
  • Partner with cross functional teams to engage employees, BRGs, and partners on community impact programs like #TwitterVoices, #SheInspiresMe, etc.
  • Interface with senior Twitter leads with ease and professionalism
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in field
  • 4-6 years of marketing, communications, strategy, or project management experience
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Strong understanding of the digital media landscape
  • Mac and Keynote proficient
