The Opportunity

To help continue fuel our growth, we are looking for an energetic, goal-oriented, self-starter OutboundSales Development Representative to join us at Trulioo. As an integral part of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for generating new sources of revenue for the company. Specifically, you will be working to engage and attract new prospects and form and nurture relationships with target accounts. This role will report into the Sales Manager. This is a full-time position in our downtown Vancouver HQ, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and public transit.

As part of our Sales team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:

  • Conduct market research into target industries, accounts, and individuals that have not been prospected to in the past
  • Use traditional methods of communication, prospecting tools, and social platforms to interact with and target new prospects
  • Schedule and execute introductory/demonstration calls to educate prospects on products offered and put Trulioo on the radar of new companies
  • Re-engage and nurture existing leads within our prospect database
  • Transition targeted qualified prospects from your pipeline to an Account Executive's to further the buying process
  • Transcribe and document all communication with new leads into Salesforce CRM for transparency and clarity among various departments

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales and customer interactions, preferably B2B and within a technology start-up environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical product specifications and value propositions, especially when speaking to different levels of management
  • An ability to think creatively, brainstorm new prospecting methods, and react quickly to tailor a pitch based on different conversations had with prospects
  • Ambition, confidence, is a self-starter and competitive

It is a bonus if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • B2B sales or sales development experience.
  • Expertise working with Salesforce and other CRM/sales outreach platforms.
