Sales Support Representative, Petro-Canada / Representant, Soutien aux ventes At Suncor Energy Services

Job Overview

Are you passionate about becoming an integral liaison between our account managers, customers, distributors and internal departments, where you will be a key contributor to achieving our sales plan objectives? In this bilingual position, reporting to the manager, wholesale sales and operations services, you will be an important part of a national team, supporting outside sales account managers to maintain and grow our Petro-Canada branded commercial fuels business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist account managers in providing the best in-class service and customer relationship management for both existing and new customer accounts
  • Handle routine customer queries and help provide business solutions and product and service information to customers
  • Assist with customer interactions, communications and follow-up
  • Oversee customer requirements with internal partners and distributors
  • Assist with proposal documents and perform both routine and ad-hoc reports (e.g. volume and pricing reports)
  • Provide backup customer support, delivering a positive customer experience
  • Develop and improve internal and external relationships through the sharing of ideas, cultivating team building and participating in the sales development process

Required Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Previous customer service, sales or inside sales experience
  • Experience working in the petroleum/fuel industry is an asset
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with SAP, Business Warehouse or a CRM system is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to earn trust with customers, distributors and others within the organization
  • You are a strong teammate who works hard and takes pride in delivering the highest level of customer service
  • You have sound business sense, attention to detail and you love solving problems
