Product Design Internship - Summer 2019 At Stessa

Location: San Francisco, California

Job Description

At Stessa, we are on a mission to democratize real estate as an asset class and streamline the whole real estate ownership lifecycle. Our SaaS platform enables income property owners to track, manage, and communicate the performance of their assets. We are a small and passionate team of entrepreneurs and seasoned technology executives, and we have the backing of some of the biggest names in real estate.

We are proud to have built a product that our early customers love, and we’re looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our growing team in the San Francisco office.

As a Product Design Intern, you’ll work collaboratively and iteratively to turn complex problems into intuitive user experiences. We’ll make your time at Stessa fun, memorable, and unique as we work together to solve user problems!

Responsibilities

  • Create design deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, style guides, low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups, and build prototypes (as needed) to illustrate the UX
  • Tackle a wide range of projects, from core features to quick experiments
  • Partner with our Product Designer, PMs, Engineers, Customer Success, and Marketing across the company
  • Develop deep empathy for our customers and customer success to inform design solutions
  • Provide and seek feedback from other team members to always push the bar for quality

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Portfolio with projects that showcase your design process
  • Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills
  • Human-centric approach to designing products
  • Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluency in commonly used design software and related tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite apps, InVision, etc.)
  • Be humble and motivated to ship the best product
  • Bonus: passion for real estate!
This internship will be in the summer of 2019.
