Junior Account Executive-Technical Sales At SGS

Location: Montréal, Quebec

Job Description

:

Working closely with the Director, Sales and Business Development, the Junior Account Executive-Technical Sales is responsible for sales and support the sales team in achieving the SGS Industrial 2018-2020 growth plan.

REPORTING TO:

Director, Sales & Business Development Canada-Industrial division

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:

  • To prepare quotes, meet with potential clients, and provide follow up for opportunities =/< $25,000, within SGS defined industry vertical markets, subgroups, and geographic regions.
  • To identify opportunities and refer SGS service inquiries to Account Executives for SGS Supply Chain, NDT, TSS and Material Testing services from SGS web inquiries and tender sites.
  • Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation, RFP’ requests, etc
  • To update and maintain as per Sales Management’s direction, Industrial’s EIC operations and project data base information for Industrial Canada Account Executives.
  • Manage sales and marketing activity, leads, tracking through SGS’ CRM
  • To collaborate with SGS coordinators and operational personnel for technical, commercial and operational support in proposal development and sales
  • To partner with the Operations team in completing special projects focused on sales process improvement.
PROFILE :

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree or College diploma in related discipline
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or marketing coordination

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • French and English language skills are essential for this position.
  • Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
  • Ability to work well with others & independently.
  • Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
  • Travel to client locations and other SGS locations may be required from time to time.
  • Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
