The Sephora University Beauty Class Facilitator is responsible for facilitating beauty classes. This position ensures a high level of client service by hosting classes and teaching clients hands-on techniques in a fun, interactive group setting. As the Facilitator, you share your expertise, dazzle clients and demystify the topic at hand and, with strong partnership of your coaches, empower clients with the tools, knowledge and confidence to create their look at home.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities
  • Regularly facilitates classes
  • Accountable for anywhere from 3-4 coaches per class who are responsible for guiding clients in their self-application
  • Delivering amazing client service, closing the sale, and making sure that clients leave with their must have products
  • Prepare for class using the provided Leaders guide
  • Understand and monitor Key metrics such as number of booking, sales results, etc.
  • Hosts pre-class touch-bases to ensure processes are established for class set-up, take-down as well as supply and tester management
  • Checks in clients for classes and sign up clients for future classes through Online reservations

Client Service
  • Determine the client’s needs and suggest relevant products by listening to the client, and by leveraging product knowledge from brand trainings and in-store technologies
  • Encourage clients to try on the product by providing personalized make-up consultations and product application to the client while educating the client
  • Assist in training and educating fellow team members as needed
  • Brand “specialists” are responsible for cross-training other consultants

EXPECTED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years in retail/service industry management/supervision
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Cosmetics experience desirable
  • Comfortable publically speaking in front of groups of 10 or more
  • Proficient in Windows, Word, and Excel
  • A High School graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate with clients and store cast in a clear manner
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is essential

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Physical Requirements:
  • Work in a fragrance filled environment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend and stretch to stock shelves.
