The Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A) Financial Analyst contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada’s success by acting as an integral part of the Canadian Business Unit Finance team, supporting the SG&A financial agenda. This role provides both technical and business analytical support of PepsiCo Canada Beverages SG&A expenses in addition to proactively monitoring business trends and identifying risks and opportunities. Success in this role will require results-driven behavior, solid organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, technical strength and the ability work both independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Complete AOP for BU SG&A Controllable Costs
  • Prepare and update period and quarterly business unit SG&A forecasts; Analyze and Advise on Risks and Opportunities
  • Leverage and develop tools to assist the business on SG&A costs
  • Identify and communicate the key "causes of change" versus aop and forecasts
  • Analyze key performance drivers and make recommendations to Senior Leaders
  • Maintain Excel models and tools
  • Analyze, review and provide insights on SG&A costs to SLT and Cost Centre owners
  • Deliver period national reporting on car allowance, mileage and smart spending

Qualifications/Requirements

  • College Diploma or Equivalent Business Experience.
  • University degree in Business and/or, Accounting Designation an asset but not required.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical, problem solving, financial planning, budgeting, and analytical skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Previous Essbase / SmartView software experience an asset
  • Experience in analyzing or forecasting Profit and Loss results
  • Experience in consumer products industry an asset
