As the Marketing Analyst for a national retailer, your mandate will be to reserch and identify shopping patterns, determine cause and effect, and the impact of various marketing initiatives on sales revenue and consumer behavior. You will study data and interpret findings. The findings and results you deliver will enable management and the marketing and sales teams to make better strategic and tactical decisions directing the business to higher sales and profits.

You will analyze the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system data in response to channel marketing initiatives. You will study marketing data such as customer shopping behaviour, marketing campaign response, and loyalty program activity, and provide meaningful insight and recommendations based on the results. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is provided.
Retail CRM Campaign Management and Analysis
Provide multi-channel analysis of marketing campaigns including ROI reports and other KPIs.
Provide customer-specific statistical reports, as required.
Prepare and distribute various daily, weekly and monthly CRM reports, as required.
Perform the maintenance and reporting of all loyalty programs.
Work with the ecommerce team to setup marketing automation communications and manage all related dataflow as required.
Generate customer profiling analysis, campaign lists and post campaign analysis in support of various marketing and other CRM initiatives.
Develop and present clear and comprehensive findings and recommendations to management on key initiatives.
Interpret business requirements, work with data and convert into actionable information.
Integrate existing analytical tools (segmentations, models, etc.) into analytical deliverables.
Analyze, interpret and manipulate data (customer database CRM Aptos, 3rd party) from disparate sources, and translate data findings into meaningful information.
Be the corporate subject matter expert on the data sources contained in the customer database and how they can be leveraged to address business challenges and opportunities.
Verify and process all incoming sales, merchandise, employee, email, store and customer information into CRM system.
Ensure all internal processes related to CRM are running correctly.
Perform various database maintenance functions.
Analyze and merge duplicate customer records.
Assist on CRM-related IT projects.
Assist all other departments with CRM-related requests.
Two (2) years experience working with a CRM database (Aptos preferred) and doing report creation.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms is an asset.
Experience in retail is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function effectively as a team player as well as independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to embrace change.
Bilingualism (French and English).
Base salary runs 55K to 65K per annum commensurate with experience.
