This role in a nutshell:

  • A sales role within the construction industry for a new BC office of a successful Canadian-owned company

  • Who do we want? An experienced, well-connected PM or site super possibly, with the talent and personality required to grow business. Or possibly a property manager or leasing agent with a property company. Maybe a sales executive from a supplier to the construction industry. We are open to any or all of the above. We just want a hard-working person with knowledge of the industry and the drive to succeed and help us grow. By doing so you will help yourself reach new levels of success!

partner staffing is currently working to find a talented sales manager from the construction industry in Vancouver to help their client expand their BC business. Our Client is a dynamic, entrepreneurial company that offers construction, business service and consulting on projects. Income for this role is high but we need to identify someone who knows what it means to earn well over $100k per year. We simply cannot take someone who is comfortable earning $50k a year and build them up. We are looking for a leader who needs a chance at an awesome career.


This role is within an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment. It is a position where results speak for themselves. You will be tasked with developing relationships and growing business for a new office in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area. It deals directly with construction managers, PMs and owners. A significant portion of the role involves networking and spending quality time contacting these individuals and discussing solutions. This role involves being on the phone about half the day for these conversations. The other half of the day is meeting with clients face to face. There is the potential for huge career advancement. This is an effort = results environment. There is a guaranteed income but it is expected that you will at least double that amount with bonuses. While this may be a challenging role, in many ways it is one of the best careers ever with tremendous opportunity to find great success.


The ideal candidate will have spent their career working within the construction/property industry in BC. This is a sales role, it is essential that you have the ability to see opportunity and not to accept delays in the process. You will deal with people and have a natural ability to draw people in. In the business world there is a certain amount of improvisation; you need to be able to think quickly on your feet in this role. There is no room for order takers and passive employees who are satisfied to just put in their time at work. Chris Rock said "when you have a job there is always too much time, when you have a career there is never enough time". This is a career but if it is treated like a job then you will fail. If you are concerned about how many days off you get, don't bother applying. You will earn flexibility through your successes. To be the best it will be important to have a "do whatever it takes mentality" day in and day out through focus and planning and then execution of those plans. If you are bothered that you have not yet improved your personal net worth and are not yet driving a luxury car or wearing nice clothes this will be an excellent opportunity. If you get fired up when the person sitting across from you is earning $150k you are in the right spot.

Fluent English is essential to success as well as the ability to create intelligent business correspondence.
