Reporting to the Director of Information & Accounting Systems, this position involves specialized non-profit accounting and will have primary responsibilities for the setup and maintenance of funds within Foundations and the University Endowment Fund. This position will also assist the Systems Unit and Endowment Accountant with various financial monitoring and analysis tasks as well as special projects requiring the use of Excel, Word, and PeopleSoft Financials. The accounts and records maintained by this position are subject to annual audit by the external CPA firm.
Bachelor's degree with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or Associate's degree in Accounting; or Associate's degree in Business or related discipline with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. * Must have knowledge of the Chartfield Request System, PeopleSoft Financials, ADVANCE, and Microsoft Office (to include Word and Excel) or similar software. * Must be familiar with Associated Entity fund types and related attributes.
