About the Position
This role covers a broad set of responsibilities related to receiving, stocking, and inventory management. The Back-of-House (BOH) Stock Associate is responsible for overseeing all areas and operations in regards to the back-of-house. You are expected to deliver on the main priorities as set out by this role, to continually revise and adapt
BOH processes as needed, and to communicate any barriers or support needed to your supervisor. You are the person with the organization and problem solving skills to turn any situation into a positive one. You are detail-oriented, efficient and want to contribute to improving processes in a growing organization. You are passionate about what you do and want to apply your skills to a company that is dedicated not just to a transparent supply chain, but to working on changing the way people shop and supporting local food systems. You have experience in receiving, stocking, inventory and/or warehouse management.
This position is a full-time (minimum of 40 hours per week) hourly position and requires those hours spent working in-store in our back-of-house and loading bay, while working closely with our cafe and grocery teams. Reporting directly to the store manager and working closely with our senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the growth path of an innovative local food business and you will have a unique opportunity to get your hands dirty and gain a wealth of experience in the zero waste food industry, inventory management, and develop processes to better facilitate this goal. Scope of Work
The Back-of-House is the engine that propels Nada. It supports the function of the store, keeping stock and supplies organized thereby allowing front-of-house team members to focus on customer service and keeping the floor in tip-top shape. The BOH stock associate will perform a variety of receiving, restocking, organizing & inventory management functions, in addition to cleaning & general maintenance of our back-of-house and loading bay areas. This is a role reporting directly to the store manager. All Nada team members are expected to support Nada's zero waste goals and initiatives, and to provide exceptional customer (or in the case of this role, suppliers and delivery teams) service by going above and beyond. As Nada is a start-up, the successful candidate must be prepared to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Salary & Compensation
This is a full-time hourly position working at Nada's flagship retail store in East
Vancouver. Compensation based on experience, between $15-20/hr. Full-time benefits including a $500 health and dental stipend and $40/month sustainable transportation subsidy kick in after six months of full-time work, along with various other professional development & team building activities in addition to flex time for wellness days and volunteering for Nada's 1% for the Planet non-profit partners. 20% team member discount on all groceries.
