Junior Designer At Magdalena Keck Interior Design

Magdalena Keck Interior Design is seeking a Junior Designer to join our team on architectural and interior design projects. The role will encompass a wide range of design activities and offers opportunity for growth. Responsibilities will include design research, drawing and presentation preparation, managing FF&E specification and sourcing, working alongside project leads.

The ideal candidate will be joining a collaborative and growing studio, dedicated to design excellence across various scales from architectural design to custom furniture and design curation for a range of residential and commercial clients.

Qualifications for this position:

• 2-3 years professional experience across various design and construction phases
• Professional Degree in Interior Design
• Experience in construction document preparation, millwork detailing and comfortable taking field observations
• Computer skills to include AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D modeling software (SketchUp or Rhino). Revit is a plus
• Knowledge of FF&E resources and procurement
• Self-motivated, solution-driven and organized, with strong graphic and verbal communication skills
