We are looking for a Business Development Director that has strong relationships with big brands, to grow our branded content division to be a leading content agency. This candidate will be working closely with the CEO and have the autonomy to scale Mad Ruk’s branded content agency, with tremendous room for growth. Being a cultural fit is integral to Mad Ruk’s ethos.
Helping to set the vision, define and develop new business strategies
Proactively initiating new client relationships and opportunities
Following up on new business leads and identifying organic growth opportunities
Driving responses to RFI and RFPs in an innovative, flawless and timely manner
Helping with development and implementation of new business ideas, proposals and processes in conjunction with key company leadership
Creating capabilities presentations and other marketing materials
Leading new business/pitch presentations
Setting project deliverables, milestones, timetables and calendars
Developing new and maintaining existing assets, archives and prospect database
Leveraging existing partnerships and developing new ones
Leading internal new business meetings and agency updates
Raising the company’s profile - executive speaking engagements, thought leadership editorial, industry events/organization outreach and relationship-building.
Previous business development experience within advertising agency or creative service
Solid track record of developing successful relationships
Confirmed and proven record of closing major accounts
- 5+ years of agency experience preferably with 3-5 years of business development experience
