MacTree Education andT&L Education LTD are Vancouver-based training schools, committed to providing high quality language training for school-aged children. We are now looking for qualified English teachers with ability to teach Phonics for young children to join our team.

Position: Elementary English Teacher (part time) at MacTree Education andT&L Education LTD
Location: 4329 W 10th AV, Vancouver (West Point Grey)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours: Monday to Thursday 3:30 to 6:00pm; Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 12:00pm with some flexibility.

Position Responsibilities:

• Teach Phonics to school-aged students.
• Teach students through fun activities such as drawing and singing.
• Plan, develop, and conduct courses to students based on their individual learning needs.
• Prepare, administer and correct tests and assist in preparing report cards.
• Assign and correct homework.
• Evaluate the progress of students and discuss progress results with students, parents and school.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in teaching Early English Literacy is preferred.
• Qualifications in Early Childhood Education will be given the highest priority.
• Outgoing and passionate about teaching young children.
• Enthusiasm for developing a happy and creative atmosphere for young children.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating environment for children in the classroom.
