VP - Marketing At Live Nation

Location: Beverly Hills, California

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Role:

The VP Marketing Promotions will conceptualize, develop and execute national consumer promotions programs and products to showcase the Live Nation Concerts brand and value propositions, drive ticket sales, and support enhanced fan experiences at Live Nation Amphitheaters.

This position will be responsible for the ‘big idea’ for Live Nation’s summer promotions and serve as a national marketing resource and center of excellence for our network of regional offices and our major tours.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the big ideas and translate them into a top-tier, award-winning caliber consumer promotions for the Live Nation Concerts brands, with a focus on driving ticket conversion and fan engagement
  • Design scalable programs that can be managed nationally but implemented locally; build internal communications and standards, working with local business units to drive participation and success
  • Oversee marketing strategy and execution for promotions, leveraging Live Nation’s network of marketing channels, local relationships, media partnerships and central media buying agency
  • Manage yearly, recurring and evergreen ticket promotion(s) for our nationwide network of amphitheaters
  • Build innovative sales programs for Live Nation’s major tours and sponsorship division, to improve on established sales and market share targets
  • Create multi-event or event-agnostic promotional ticket products and bundles to encourage multiple show attendance and incremental purchases
  • Find experiential and onsite marketing opportunities promote ticket sales to fans at Live Nation shows
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate past performance, customer behavior and feedback, market trends and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and generate creative ideas
  • Leverage Live Nation’s vast database of fans to find insights, develop campaign strategy and build data-driven offers
  • Manage a small team, serve as a point of contact for multiple stakeholders including local leadership, touring, ticketing, finance, legal and corporate strategy

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years’ experience in a role creating, launching and managing marketing or promotional campaigns
  • Creative, strategic, BIG thinker, with thoughtfulness for business goals is a must
  • Must be able to influence and communicate with people at all levels of the organization
  • Must have experience working within budget expectations and against financial KPI GOAL
  • Experience leveraging data and analytical insights to inform strategy and plans
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or experience in a comparable position
  • Must have experience supervising a teams and working with multiple stakeholders
