Integration Analyst At KIK Custom Products

Position Reports To: Senior Manager Integration and Analytics, Information Systems
Location: Vaughan, Ontario

The Integration Analyst position is part of the KIK Custom Products – Information Systems team. The incumbent will design, test, monitor and troubleshoot Integration and ETL processes. This role will work closely with integration and analytics developers. The incumbent will support the processes in a standards-based environment, deployed globally and accessible across the organization.

This role is based in Vaughan, ON but will have responsibilities for global locations with travel requirements ranging from 10-15%.

Responsibilities

Application Integration
  • Design and build application integrations using SAP PO/PI.
  • Gather requirements on SAP PO/PI and plan/design based on the requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize enhancements to existing SAP PO/PI interfaces.
  • Assess and resolve SAP PI application failures.
  • Liaise with architecture to ensure SAP PO/PI functional and non-functional requirements are considered including security, compatibility and maintainability.
  • Develop, design, maintain and support SAP PO/PI.
  • Identify how to integrate on premise applications with cloud applications for inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Document integration mappings between applications and maintain and update existing integration documentation.
  • Work closely with other SAP PO/PI developers to establish, maintain and follow application integration standards.
  • Support business analysts during testing of application integrations.
  • Participate in integrations meetings with other team members to identify application integration needs.
  • Provide assistance with the design and development of test plans and scripts for application integration processes.
  • Support quality assurance and user acceptance tests for application integration processes.

ETL Development
  • Design, direct and implement ETL processes, including data capture, data quality, testing and validation methods.
  • Analyze different sources of data and develop ETL processes to integrate them to our system.
  • Understand the source data components and how they integrate with each other (which might be both relational and dimensional).
  • Develop ETL processes using standard database sources, file sources and Web sources (XML, Web Service, REST, SOAP).
  • Monitor daily ETL jobs and troubleshoot issues in Production environments.
  • Analyze data requirements, study complex source data, and determine the best methods of extracting, transforming and loading data into different database (which might be both relational and dimensional).
  • Provide assistance with the design and development of test plans and scripts for ETL processes.
  • Support quality assurance and user acceptance tests.

Orchestration and Scheduling
  • Build workflows for new integration processes using existing orchestration tools.
  • Build jobs and plans for integration processes using existing orchestration tools.
  • Debug and troubleshoot existing orchestration tools.
  • Automate integration processes.

Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or another business-related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working with SAP Process Orchestration performing all the following: identify, gather, define and implement requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft SSIS, Visual Studio 2015 and above.
  • 5+ years of experience in Web technologies: XML, XSD, XSL, HTTPS, Web Services, FTP, SFTP
  • 2+ years of experience in process orchestrations and job scheduling tools such as SQL Server Agent, Active Batch, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud applications and ways to consume and integrate.
  • Knowledge of EDI concepts.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP concepts and how to use these in integration processes.
  • Expert knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, listening and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and analytics skills.
