You will be a member of the Mission Control Systems (MCS) Integration, Test & Deployment Group (393B) group.
You will provide test and integration support for Advanced Multi-mission Processing and Control System (AMPCS) software. You will have frequent interaction with the AMPCS software development team to provide feedback for the integration and test status. Will help to evolve the existing subsystems build process to incorporate continuous integration support by working with the AMPCS I&T Team to include existing and/or new automated test cases.
BS in Computer Science or related engineering field preferred.
At least a 3.0gpa Required
1+ years hands-on software quality assurance testing experience in the software development industry.
1+ years of in-depth experience developing test automation.
1+ years of experience Python scripting language & Unix/Linux shell scripting with bash.
Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.
Prior experience with message bus/broker technology (e.g., ActiveMQ, Kafka, etc.).
Prior experience with MySQL.
Practical knowledge of Linux.
Knowledge of modern software development tools and practices:
GitHub, JIRA, Jenkins, TestRail, test automation methodology, etc.
Knowledge of AMPCS software.
Knowledge of object-oriented or service-oriented design patterns.
1+ years of hands-on experience in Automated Tests using RobotFramework.
Knowledge of spacecraft systems and telemetry data packaging and processing.
Habit of writing clean, re-usable & parameterized code for Tests, ensuring coverage.
Knowledge of JPL Software Development Standard Practices (SDSPs).
Experience in JPL flight project support and continuous flight operations improvement.
Ability to rapidly learn third party development / QA tools.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
