JBM Consultants is looking for a qualified sales intern to assist in various stages of the sales funnel, including creating awareness of company offerings, generating leads, and retaining customers. This is a 12 week internship which includes sales training and support throughout the duration of the internship.
The ideal intern will be a highly motivated self-starter with the proven ability to work independently. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from the company’s founders.
Duties and Responsibilities
Research and generate lists of potential customers
Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature
Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts
Apply sales techniques
Maintain sales records using a customized CRM
Undergraduate student majoring in Business Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business major
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, advertising and/or marketing preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel and CRM’s preferred
Located near the San Francisco Bay Area preferred
Gain hands-on experience in each stage of the sales funnel
Build professional network for future professional endeavors
Work closely with a mentor who has over 20 years of experience in the field
Attend meetings, events, and other networking opportunities
