Business Development Manager At Jason Inc.

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

We deliver best-in-class finishing, components and seating products and solutions to industrial, energy, heavy fabrication, off-highway equipment and transportation markets. Jason has a presence in 13 countries and employs more than 2,600 employees worldwide.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities up to 7

  • Collect and analyze potential customer/partner/acquisition/product data for viability of new business opportunities, new customers, new industry applications etc.
  • Conduct and analyze market research and feasibility studies; review results of analysis with management team to develop strategy and set up operational decisions
  • Develop, manage and increase a pipeline of strong, targeted prospect opportunities for increasing revenue and/or margin
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; explore opportunities; screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential financials, evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; make recommendations
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; negotiate contracts and integrate contract requirements with business operations
  • Prepare reports and presentation for external customers and internal management


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Three 3 to five 5 years of experience in a Business Development, Sales, and/or Market Analysis position preferred
