Regional Director- Jani-King of NB and PEI
Effectively lead and manage the Jani-King Regional Support Centre located in Saint John, NB
This is the senior management position within Jani-King . The individual will be responsible for the overall system market growth and penetration for the NB Region including franchisee development and financial/human resource management.
Jani-King is the world’s largest commercial cleaning franchise system with over 12,000 franchise owners worldwide. Founded in 1969, Jani-King has 120 regional offices in 19 countries. In Canada,there are over 750 franchisees supported by 12 Regional Offices located across the country.
Through a network of regional support offices, Jani-King contracts commercial cleaning services for many different sectors including office, hotel/resort, manufacturing, restaurant, and sporting venues. The company has consistently ranked as the top performer among commercial cleaning franchise systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leadership, franchise development, system growth and profitability
Develops an overall Strategic Business Plan that includes goals, objectives, budgets and strategies that ensure a well functioning Regional Support Centre
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans for staff and their various departments
Creates an environment of success while building a strong team
Monitors sales team performance and communicates results
Lead presentations for potential hospitality customers and larger account prospects
Stay current with the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of relevant literature and by consulting with vendors
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field is an asset
Minimum of three (3) years experience with business-to-business selling
Experience with managing a team
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage for results
Excellent time management skills
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience in a franchise business model is considered an asset
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills required
Strong team building and coaching skills
Strong selling, business development, negotiating and problem solving skills
