I'm (we're) Jane - a web-based platform for small healthcare practices. We're looking for an office ninja (guru? sage?) to take care of organizing our day-to-day conference and trade show activities.
Why? Every year, Jane takes part in dozens of industry events, conferences, and trade shows. It gives us a chance to meet with and talk to our wonderful customers all around the world, and to share the Jane story with those who haven't heard it yet. Also, 4 of us have tried and failed at successfully navigating fedex so far, so we really need your help.
It's a huge task to make sure everything comes off without a hitch. It means registering for events. Organizing travel schedules. Booking hotels. Getting the team exactly where they need to be, when.
This job is all about making sure our $450,000 event budget is money well spent, that deadlines are met, and that we have a single source of truth in an ever-shifting schedule of events. You'll be spending a lot of your time communicating. Slack, email, calls; you'll be the traffic coordinator between team leads internally, and the point person for vendors and events externally.
If you dream in spreadsheets, live by your calendar, and rock logistics, Jane might be a great fit for you. Since we're still very much in start up phase, you'll likely be wearing many hats in this role; specifically that could mean pitching in and giving support across our numerous marketing touchpoints (trade shows, social, blog), and also regularly connecting with our support and dev teams. Each day will probably be a little bit different, and you'll thrive at Jane if you are excited to fill in where needed and venture outside of the strict confines of a job description.
