Software as a Service (SaaS) professionals demonstrate skills and experience related to software delivery model in which software and associated data are centrally hosted on the cloud. The Salesforce Developer serves as a technical role supporting the CRM solution, salesforce.com at James Hardie. This role works collaboratively with others to analyze and develop CRM workflows and solutions. This role will report to the Director of Sales Operations through the sales organization.
Strong understanding of salesforce.com platform and basic to intermediate understanding of integrations, single sign, security, etc.
Collaborates with technology and peer teams to ensure effective data flow between Salesforce.com and integrated systems by providing technical support of integrated business operational workflows, functional requirements and analyzing opportunities for process improvements while supporting agile development projects.
Manage timelines and create and/or update functional and technical documentation to support business requirements.
Creates and manages complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers as well as ability to use process builder to drive efficiencies within the business.
Maintaining user roles, profiles, permission sets and user groups to ensure there are no security breaches that could put at risk James Hardie data including set up and deactivation of users accounts and permissions.
Manages integration initiatives and implementation of third party plug-ins.
Design and develop advanced customizations using Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers, and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, schedule jobs, batch jobs, and email services.
Experience with Web Services is also a plus.
Is responsible for testing and implementation of software development including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing and debugging. Attain user acceptance testing on all new code and enhancements.
Stay up-to-date on new Salesforce features to provide recommendations for process improvements and future integrations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, software engineering or equivalent or appropriate business experience and discipline that shows equivalent talent. Strong communications skills.
Salesforce Developer and Advanced Admin certifications and accreditations a plus.
Analytical skills to help design and produce solutions to business need and requirements.
Well rounded in both functional and technical aspects of a CRM engagement
