The James G. Elliott Co., Inc., is currently searching for a business development representative who will work with a major trade publication and in the trade show/convention space. This position can be based in our New York or Chicago office.
Primary responsibilities are:
Identify and prospect for new print / digital advertisers
Outreach to new business prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events to help qualify sales opportunities
Solicit new clients as potential revenue opportunities through inbound leads, social media, Salesforce and trade shows
Trade show preparation and follow-up
Advertising plan creation, development, and implementation
Salesforce database maintenance
Project management on complex advertising campaigns

College degree preferred
1-3 years media sales experience
