As an SQL Server Application Server Systems Administrator, the role is responsible for providing technical support on SQL applications as well as the troubleshooting and resolutions coordination of all application/functional support issues. Besides providing SQL Server system administration, support & configuration, the role holder will have the opportunity to assist in enhancements, upgrades and specific projects relating to those applications. This position is directly responsible for the success and availability of a mission critical, patient care system and also performs database upgrades and configuration and maintenance for Database Disaster Recovery and high availability.
