This position will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing plans across a select portfolio of games spanning from high profile licensed IP to original IP mobile games. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products maximize marketability, are tuned for organic growth, and employ key growth strategies to scale audience and revenue worldwide. Additionally, once a product is in market this position will manage all customer related retention marketing, communication touch points and reengagement events across the portfolio. This Integrated Marketing role acts as a quarterback internally with Jam City teams and relevant IP partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 10+ years of mobile marketing experience, with an emphasis on partner marketing.
  • Create, lead and deliver go-to-market and ongoing product lifecycle marketing strategies across a select portfolio of high-profile global games. Includes brand development, competitive analysis, positioning, advertising and promotion.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal Game Team, Product Team, UA, Consumer Insights, Publishing, Social Media, Communications and IP partners to develop focused integrated marketing campaigns
  • Develop and lead day-to-day relationships with licensing partners, managing ongoing approvals. Cultivate relationship to effectively collaborate, problem solve, and maximize co-marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with game team to define long-range game roadmap plans that deliver focused brand and product beats to promote against.
  • Ideate and execute marketing campaigns that deliver on measurable awareness, engagement, conversion & retention. Identify new ways to increase market growth domestically and internationally via paid and earned media.
  • Analyze performance of all marketing programs to optimize and iterate upon for future campaigns
  • Partner with internal creative teams and outside agencies to drive and develop best in class consumer facing creative across all channels. Create strategic brand vision and briefing materials for digital and offline marketing materials.
  • Regularly present marketing plans, campaigns and findings to internal partners and stakeholders
  • Self-starter and an innovative thinker.
  • Bring a thorough understanding of the ever-changing competitive landscape and mobile gaming trends
  • Be a thought partner and proactive contributor, helping to drive the business forward
  • Provide cross-functional product leadership
  • Be a key branding & marketing contributor to the full lifecycle of the product including concept, development, & live services

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in IP licensed free to play mobile game marketing
  • Experience operating across the full marketing mix; including but not limited to: digital marketing, TV media, campaign development, consumer insights, social media, customer acquisition and retention, influencer marketing, and promotional partnerships.
  • Ability to analyze game and marketing KPIs, interpret data, and drive recommendations
  • Manage a portfolio of digital products, set priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong visual and art direction skills
