The Software Engineer/ Trainee Architect role is for a candidate who is looking to become skilled in both old and new technology and is looking to gain experience working on large systems developed in multiple technologies. You are expected to be an enthusiastic and recent computer science/engineering graduate or similar. You should come with a love for coding and a desire to learn from some great software development people. We are looking to train you on the job, and you should expect a career path that begins at entry level software engineer all the way up to software architect.
You we will be specifically working with the ‘Asset Management Solutions’ aka AMS group, creating modern software for the administration of funds investor record keeping systems. From back office data entry platforms, digital document integration and call centre operations to DB2, NoSQL and Open systems data structure access this position will be a growth opportunity to work with a strong team of implementers.

Excited to learn and sample (POC) new technology for future implementations and projects
Experience with a broad set of technologies (some include: Angular, ExtJS, Java, Spring Boot, C++, SQL PL, COBOL Stored Procedures, SQL, API RESTful services, Apigee, Kafka, Cloud Deployment, and others…)
Good Web development skills
Strength in communication (written and verbal) to other technical and business associates and occasionally to clients
Willingness to travel occasionally (a few times a year) to locations such as KC, Bangkok, India and other locations as needed
