Overall Accountabilities


The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for a variety of Human Resources programs and initiatives. As an integral member of IFDS’ HR team, aligns activities with overall team priorities and contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the department. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with employees throughout IFDS.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development, maintenance and administration of systems and tools associated with the implementation of foundational HR programs including performance management, training & development and e-learning;
  • Responsible for aspects of onboarding and orientation activities;
  • First point of contact for general HR enquiries from employees;
  • Contributes to projects related to the achievement of overall program goals, and manages specific initiatives as assigned;
  • Oversees set up and logistics for events;
  • Maintains metrics and supports business analytics and reporting activities;
  • Develops presentation materials;
  • Presents information in a variety of forums to IFDS employees;
  • Data entry, filing, file preparation, photocopying, scanning as required

Required Skills, Experience & Competencies

  • University Degree or College Diploma; CHRP designation or working towards CHRP designation preferred;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations and in the design and implementation of creative communications initiatives;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to convey information effectively to diverse audiences in a variety of forums and situations;
  • Flexible, with strong organizational, analytical and problem resolution abilities;
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain personal credibility and broad relationships;
  • Collaborative, and motivated to contribute to a high performing team;
  • Committed to delivery of high quality outcomes
