Product Marketing, IDEO D4C (Design for Change) Ventures
We are looking for an individual with incredible marketing and leadership skills to play a key role in our new D4C Ventures team—which builds products to help leaders build more innovative and adaptive organizations.
You will have strong influence over the development of new venture and set of offerings as the team grows. You will lead our efforts in marketing, brand, and channel strategy helping us hone the right value propositions, messages and media mix. You will also drive planning and growth strategies for Creative Difference in addition to other future D4C Ventures. As with all things IDEO, this will happen using a highly collaborative, human-centered approach. You will be joining a fast growing team and will help shape the new organization as it grows.

Sell the appropriate mix of IDEO products—which include IDEO U, oi engine, Creative Difference, Experience Innovation, and organization design consulting—to help leaders build more creative organizations.
Lead our processes to understand new market opportunities: Identify market gaps, opportunities to build IDEO’s product portfolio, and ways to improve existing products’ product-market-fit, via the sales process and primary research with potential customers.
Develop and execute a plan to grow the Creative Difference customer base.
Educate the IDEO community about new D4C products, and help IDEO’s business development professionals to pitch these ventures.
Define key metrics and measurement approaches to evaluate the performance.
Leverage customer insights, market conditions, and competitor data to inform marketing plans.
Guide and execute the development of creative marketing content (website, promotional materials, B2B brochures, ad campaigns, and social media).
Prioritize and develop plans for testing and improving the performance of marketing tactics, messaging, media channels and creative content.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights about the product experience that inform the development of content pipelines and go to market plans (product, price, promotion and placement).
Education: MBA or other degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience.
Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years of related work experience.
Preferred: Prior entrepreneurial experience
