Start-Up Business Development Leader At Ideatree

Location: West Hollywood, California

Job Description

ideaTree is building a conglomerate of mobile and internet brands by identifying and accelerating new ideas and proven internet business models thereby transferring them to new and untapped markets where it seeks to scale them into market leaders.

An entrepreneurial sales, marketing and business development leader to support a product launch.

Responsibilities:
This position will be primarily working with one of our portfolio companies, a SaaS startup preparing to launch Summer 2018, and the right candidate will have the opportunity to join the founding team.

Who we’re looking for:
Team Leader – help build and manage dynamic sales and marketing teams, focused on expansion and innovation.

People Person – cultivate meaningful relationships with new and existing customers, business partners and industry leaders. Make presentations and represent the business.

Closer – develop and execute Sales Forecasts, Quotes, Pitches, and Proposals. Identify strategic partnership opportunities and accelerate sales leads. Close deals.

Trailblazer – take initiative and bring new ideas to the table, find creative ways to expand the business, break down the door and own your vision.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree from a top university (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 1-2 years professional experience (startup experience or experience in the Payments industry a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good with numbers and technically literate (able to understand software businesses)
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Resourceful, with a startup attitude
