IDC, the premier global provider of market intelligence, advisory services, and events for the information technology, telecommunications, and consumer technology markets is looking for an experienced Account Executive to lead the sales effort of IDC’s Custom Solutions offerings, within IDC’s largest accounts.
The Account Executive position will be responsible for developing and driving several million dollars of consulting projects and go to market revenues focused on assisting technology vendors to more effectively assess their markets, customers, and competitors in order to develop more effective messaging and better position their offerings. This position will be selling to market intelligence, strategy, marketing and analyst relations professionals.
As a member of a collaborative team, the Account Executive will be responsible for developing an in-depth knowledge of IDC Consulting capabilities, including custom market research and go-to-market services, as well as building strong relationships with multiple individuals, such as Account Managers, Consulting Project Directors, and Research Analysts across IDC.
The Account Executive will prospect for new and incremental opportunities, work with various Consulting Project Directors in proposal generation, and be responsible for closing business and following up on customer relations. This position requires tremendous collaboration and communication with various IDC account and consulting sales teams.
