Marketing Communications Manager At iCrossing

We are looking for a writer and content strategist who can help us capitalize on opportunities to grow our brand both internally and externally. What you’ll do

  • Partner with department head to create and execute internal and external communication plans that creatively advance iCrossing’s reputation and business objectives
  • Operate as an in-house reporter to regularly identify and drive creative news-making opportunities that promote awareness of company initiatives and milestones, inspire favorable press coverage and serve as a vehicle to retain and attract talent
  • Manage process, relationship and content ideation between marketing and content marketing teams, ensuring consistent collaboration on all branding initiatives, social media, news-sharing, newsletters and campaigns
  • Work with department head on thought leadership ideas (opeds, speaking abstracts) and content for Senior Leadership Team and other subject matter experts
  • Write and edit high-level materials for communicating with media, employees and other key audiences
  • Collaborate with department head on agency award submissions, such as Advertising Age A-List

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in writing/content creation-focused role, ideally at a publication, agency or brand but not mandatory
  • You are great at asking questions and drilling down to uncover insights that can lead to great stories and opportunities for our brand
  • You have experience using marketing and email software such as MailChimp, Vbout and Splash
  • You have experience working with company leadership and other senior level executives
  • You can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • You are comfortable creating content for a wide variety of channels and audiences. This may include:
    • Drafting executive emails to the company
    • Creating POV articles to publish on our website
    • Managing a monthly social media and/or editorial calendar and writing copy to support these channels
    • Quickly creating email templates for various teams to share our press articles with clients
    • Assistance with writing opeds on a wide variety of industry topics
    • Partnering with execs and various teams to create winning agency award submissions (people lists, creative work and etc)
    • Taking ownership over our global newsletter
