Daikin Territory Sales Manager

About the Opportunity:


Daikin is seeking a professional, skilled Territory Sales Manager, for the British Columbia, Canada Region. This position is responsible for coordinating the growth of all Daikin dealers for within the British Columbia Region. this role is required to plan, organize, maintain, develop and grow a volume driven and profitable base of up to approximately 50 target and core dealers. The role is accountable for sales growth, margins, assisting with inventory and product management and coordinating all activities between branch personnel and Dealers/Contractors. The Daikin TSM will ensure that each member of the dealer base is completely aware of the features and benefits of all Daikin products and services.

Responsibilities

May include;


  • Responsible for key Daikin dealer (DCP & VRV Pro) acquisition.
  • Maintain and improve personal sales and business expertise.
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service around Daikin branded products.
  • Plan and influence Dealer staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs where applicable to Daikin.
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
  • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 plus years sales experience preferably within the HVAC industry
  • HVAC Experience preferred
  • Ability to Negotiate
  • Complete understanding of the HVAC contracting business
  • Dealer recruitment experience, dealer training
