Product Manager At FLEETCOR

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

ROLE FUNCTION AND PURPOSE

Cambridge is looking for a highly qualified Product Manager who is passionate about technology innovation, user experience and has a desire to deliver excellence to our internal and external customers. Our Product Manager sets the vision for our products and is responsible for guiding teams across many disciplines towards creating high quality products. The Product Manager for Operations will lead the development and improvement of existing and new tools and business processes relating to Cambridge Global Payments’ operations which include payment processing, trading automation, banking platform integration, global FX and exchange management. This role will also manage a team of IT professionals and must possess strong leadership skills and experience in a managerial role.

Role Responsibility

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the vision and roadmaps for operations products and business processes
  • Document product requirements and specifications and manage project execution and roll out strategy
  • Partner with technology, operations and other internal team to plan, build, launch and manage excellent products
  • Conduct industry research and analyze to identify trends to define opportunities for product innovation and enhancements
  • Identify key competitor capabilities and understand how our capabilities differentiate Cambridge from these competitors
  • Oversee product development of the key features
  • Communicate with cross functional teams to identify needs as well as provide updates on new features
  • Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from users.

The Ideal Candidate

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Business and a minimum of 5 years’ of relevant product management experience
  • Experience with global operations in an international payments company or similar industry
  • Experience managing cross functional teams
  • Experience developing and executing product strategy, roadmaps and related budgets
  • Strong experience liaising with various business departments including sales, marketing, technology, customer service
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies an asset
