DevOps Engineer At Fleetcor

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Job Introduction
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing Technology team. You will work closely with our IT and Development teams to create and maintain environments for our .NET web and desktop applications, backend infrastructure services, and databases. Help us grow past our inefficiencies and continuously deliver exceptional products to our clients.

Main Responsibilities

Take ownership of our production infrastructure and continuous delivery pipeline
Ensure development teams can deploy code quickly, reliably and securely
Evaluate new technologies to make recommendations to streamline and improve systems
Ensure compliance of service infrastructure with Cambridge s security policies
Occasionally work out of hours to support release activity
Collaborate with software development and product owner teams in developing automated environment and release management solutions

The Ideal Candidate

3 years of experience with building CI/CD pipelines for Windows applications
3 years working experience with Windows administration including IIS, Powershell, and windows service management
Expert knowledge of code versioning through Git
Experience with scripting languages
Strong grasp of automation tools such as Jenkins, Git hooks, and Octopus Deploy
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the application of DevOps techniques
Strong problem-solving skills - ability to take a process perspective in solving problems
Strong understanding of security practices
Experience with application performance monitoring and alerting
