Account Manager II At FIS Global

ABOUT THE TEAM:

FIS is looking for a Practice Consultant | Account Manager to join our team in New York City (Midtown). This position is responsible for making our customers love the support they receive from FIS by designing practice solutions to ensure engagements meet the client’s needs, acting as a Point of Contact for issues and concerns, and being the SME on FIS’ products and services. This role will involve 30-50% travel, to client sites in Manhattan.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

In this role, you will nurture relationships and define consulting engagements to support client needs.

  • Defines, maintains and enhances practice offering to support business objectives, strategic development roadmap and client business needs.
  • Designs, enhances and implements practice offering to support specific client requirements and address market opportunities.
  • Consults with sales, account management and client on the appropriate practice offering to meet specific client requirements and strategic business needs.
  • Consults with clients on the most strategic technology projects within a practice area.
  • Serves as pre-sales support specialist as needed with sales and account management to create and close sales opportunities. May include developing proposals/statements of work, negotiating pricing, planning engagement projects and delivering prospect presentations.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders, e.g., product management, development, sales, and senior management to define and support assigned practice area.

WHAT YOU BRING:

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of FIS product knowledge, excellent customer service & phone etiquette, and the ability to dig and research/be resourceful, in order to solve an issue.

  • Very organized and detail oriented; able to work with shifting priorities
  • Loves analyzing issues and devising efficiencies to better the client experience
