The FIS 2019 Corporate Summer Internship:
As a 2019 Corporate Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoring along with participation in team projects, social events, charity work, and professional development seminars. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3, 2019 and conclude on August 9, 2019.
Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. As an intern, you should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contract Valuation - Financial Analyst is responsible for performing a valuation assessment of enterprise client sales, for the purposes of recognizing sales reporting and commission processing.
- Performs detailed audit of sales opportunities to ensure deal financials are accurately recognized for all deal components, including: Deal Valuation, Contract Accuracy, Revenue Classification, Solution Classification, and Commission Eligibility.

Thoroughly reviews legal agreements to ensure contract accuracy and contractual obligation has been obtained.

Completes a high volume of assignments in a fast-paced production environment, to uphold monthly deadlines.

Analyze financial information

Create financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis

Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives

Resolve exception and escalated scenarios
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree in a related field of study (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration)

Displays good written and oral communication skills

Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of MS Office

Ability to work in one of FIS' strategic locations for the duration of the internship

GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher
