LABOURER At EISSES BROS EXCAVATING

Successful Excavating company in Barrie is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a general labourer. The ideal candidiate will have a valid current Drivers License ~ G as a miniumum but a D or A License would be a definite asset. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Must be able and willing to perform physical duties outdoors and in all weather conditions
• Be available to work 40+ hours per week based on workload
• Shoveling or raking for extended periods of time
• Assist machine and heavy equipment operators by safely exposing existing utilities by hand when required
• Use of hand tools, measuring instruments, quick cut saws and handheld compaction equipment including jumping jacks in a safe manner
• Lift and carry items exceeding 50 lbs when necessary
• Safely enter and exit work areas, including trenches as required
• Assist with the installation of septic tanks and septic beds, including pipe laying and shoveling stone
• Limited operation of some equipment such as skid steer, wheel loader, articulated dump truck including daily maintenance of that equipment as required
• Effectively communicate, problem solve and maintain good working relationship with team members, supervisors, customers, subcontractors, equipment operators, property owners and the general public
