Senior Graphic Designer At Eileen Fisher

Team Description:

Our Creative Team produces engaging, high-quality assets in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Projects range from product and brand marketing campaigns, ad units, video assets, packaging, in-store/environmental signage, print collateral, and more. You’ll report to the Associate Creative Director and work closely with a talented team of designers, writers, merchandisers and marketers.

Position Summary:

The Senior Graphic Designer will work with the Associate Creative Director and Jr Designer to produce and oversee a variety of creative projects that address brand marketing needs: which include print, digital, in-store, and video.

To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth knowledge of graphic design, typography, styles and an appreciation for photography. Skilled at working collaboratively with other creative team members and marketing partners to problem-solve and execute designs with attention to detail. Ability to think pro-actively and multi-task project briefs, while partnering and guiding Jr Designers. Ability to promote brand through delivering high quality work on tight deadlines.


Required Skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with creative leaders (CD, ACD, GDD) and brand communications partners to develop and implement creative concepts and seasonal campaign assets
  • Design and deliver innovative visual executions that support corporate branding and business goals across all relevant media including digital/print advertising, direct mail, OOH, social media, in-store presentations, environmental graphics, email, packaging, display/motion graphics, title graphics, corporate collateral, etc.
  • Own projects from kickoff through completion, presenting your work to creative leaders and marketing stakeholders; incorporating feedback into thoughtful final assets
  • Maintain brand and typographic consistency across materials and brand channels.
  • Manage projects effectively and efficiently while maintaining priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Contribute to photo shoots under direction of Creative Leaders
  • Be a design leader, providing guidance and feedback to junior designers
  • Work closely with Production Designers to assure final assets deliver according to design requirements
  • Stay current on design/fashion/editorial/retail/competitor trends and technology developments.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Graphic/Communication Design or related field





Required Experience

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of graphic design experience within a design studio or creative agency
  • Outstanding typographic, graphic design, brand identity and digital experience
  • Expert/skills with Adobe Suite and standard industry software:
    • InDesign: styles and master pages, presentations, pre-press mechanical prep and export, expert type manipulation/typography skills
    • Photoshop mastery including non-destructive layers, generate assets, light retouching skills (re background extensions/compositing) artboards, general web best practices, expert type manipulation.
  • Discerning eye for photo editing, cropping, and compositing
  • Passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns
