Cafe Associate - Eilan Hotel and Spa At Eilan Hotel and Spa

Our luxury resort, Eilan Hotel & Spa located in the San Antonio hills country is seeking a cafe attendant for our fine dining establishment. The purpose of the cafe attendant is to manage the associate banks; issue change to the associates as needed, and replenish his/her bank with change as needed. They will also follow through with the daily cash activities (drops, due-backs, reconciliation) and create end of the month reports; assisting the operations accountant as needed.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities

• Issue banks to new associates, keep records of the bank agreement and initial bank assignment for each associate having a bank, and pick up banks and auditing when an employee departs the company.
• Issue change to employees and replenish his/her own change.
• Audit the banks to always assure quality control and assist the F&B account with their audits.
• Pick up the drops on a daily basis and returning the due backs to the associates and preparing the drops for pickup.
• Prepare the cash log at the end of the month for review by the Operations Accountant.
• Assist the operations accountant as needed with the invoice process

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to deal with ever-changing situations.
