Account Manager - NYC At Eigen Technologies

Location: New York, New York

Job Description

We are a research-led artificial intelligence company located in London and New York. We power our clients ability to make data-driven decisions by distilling and understanding their data at scale. Our innovations enable our products to derive insights from unstructured data with significantly less training data than traditional methods. Our products are based on technology inspired by methods from applied physics, machine learning and mathematics. We apply them to qualitative data across multiple sectors, including legal, finance, and professional services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

Source new clients within the relevant industry sector by exploiting existing Financial Services network
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
Negotiate contracts and close agreements in line with achieving strategic objectives
Represent Eigen at sales events and conferences to source new business
Support Directors and VPs by feeding into Commercial sales strategy and Financial Services sector strategy development

Account management

Manage a portfolio of client accounts, within budget
Serve as a key point of contact for all account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Effectively communicate with other departments internally in order to facilitate client requests
Feed into product requirements based on client feedback
Manage the set-up of pilots
Support Project Managers in the timely and successful delivery of projects according to client needs and objectives
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Clearly communicate the progress of projects to internal and external stakeholders
Forecast and track key account metrics
Actively use CRM software to record client activities and effectively manage the pipeline
Manage and develop junior account managers, where required

REQUIREMENTS
Strong sales experience and a proven track record of revenue generation
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Commercial/Sales
Manager, Consultant, or similar relevant role
5+ years of experience within Financial Services
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key
stakeholders at different levels of an organisation
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time,
while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
BA/BSc degree; Masters desired
