Director of Marketing and Events At EHE

What we're looking for:

We're seeking a talented Director of Marketing and Events to lead and manage all programmatic development, acquisition and awareness marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional, with solid experience across online and offline channels, content and asset development, building and executing holistic acquisition and retention strategies across various consumer segments (members, prospects, influencers).

The Director of Marketing and Events will combine strategy, planning, product management, content creation, and communication to build brand-new experiences. This includes establishing high-level marketing roadmaps for beta, launch and national rollout with various internal and external stakeholders, understanding the full scope of the competitive landscape and customer target in specific markets, and helping to create local and campaigns in key cities and drive national awareness/reach.

The ideal candidate is independent, flexible, comfortable with a high degree of change, fast-moving and results oriented. Ultimately, you're also excited about extending EHE Health's mission.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead all aspects of marketing including omni-channel lead acquisition, retention planning, product marketing (digital and physical), member experience, segment messaging, content, partnerships, and sector-specific, consumer and/or customer events
  • Work with selected agencies to analyze industry trends, competitor efforts, and establish our position in the market and build an experience that our consumers will love
  • Develop a communications/marketing plan to reach our target in an impactful way
  • Create compelling campaigns that showcase our positioning and service offering; that successfully engage target accounts and generate pipeline/opportunities for acquisition
  • Develop media relations strategy, media and business placements, features and interviews in print, broadcast, trade, corporate, social and digital media
  • Identify key journalists/media/publications for outreach
  • Lead the development and execution of bold communications strategies for the organization
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to forecast and develop goals and KPIs
  • Select and drive all partner relationships ensuring we maximize these opportunities through negotiation and strong adherence to deadlines.
  • Work closely with the EHE Health community, finance, marketing, member experience, product, technology and operations team to ensure you are leveraging all the internal resources and best practices


What the role requires:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience leading marketing teams; 10+ years total experience
  • A strong mix of both creative and analytical skills
  • Successful history in developing and executing marketing programs through digital and events
  • Experience in CRM marketing strategies, tactics, and technologies
  • Industry/vertical expertise in health, wellness, fitness is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience presenting to executive teams and large audiences
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving engagement, product management, customer success, and more
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects quickly
  • Passion for fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience managing key relationships with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate, think strategically, and develop key product messaging and brand positioning
  • Team-building mindset and experience in managing and mentoring a group
  • Light UX, UI design experience, is a plus
