Logistics Coordinator At EHC Global

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity in our Head Office for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager; this position is responsible for supporting EHC's competitive position through assisting the Senior Traffic Specialist with distributing products to customers on a timely, cost-effective, and reliable basis. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for movement of all products around the globe. Track shipments for external and internal customers daily and coordinate with multiply service providers and customers, problem solving until shipment delivery is completed. They will also be responsible for responsible for providing backup to the Purchasing Agent function.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of 2-year community college program, preferably in either Supply Chain, or Logistics Administration or Diploma in Distribution Management.
• Has worked in a fast-paced Traffic environment for a minimum of two years, serving domestic and international customers and was responsible for the movement and distribution of products in a timely and cost-effective basis while in compliance with legislation.
• In-depth current working knowledge of Canada and USA Customs regulations, INCO shipping terms and the North America & international transportation industry.
• Familiar with current USMCA, GATT, IATA (Dangerous Goods), Transportation Law, Physical Distribution, Rules and Regulations affecting International trade
• Has previous demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating the best rates
• Is proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated above average business written and verbal skills.
• Must be a team player and be able to interact with all levels of the organization
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
• In-depth knowledge of and previous experience working with an ERP system is required
• Previous experience with ERP software would be considered an asset
