THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity in our Head Office for a Communications Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Marketing Director; the Communications Specialist, is primarily responsible for developing content and disseminating internal and external communications materials. The Communications Specialist will develop a communications plan and oversee the daily implementation of the plan. This position will be responsible for the development, review and updating of content used in direct marketing campaigns, corporate and sales presentations, press releases and other media relations tools, promotional and product literature, training materials, proposals, whitepapers, newsletters, directory listings, advertisements, etc. In addition, the Communications Specialist will oversee the development, management, and maintenance of all online communication vehicles for EHC Global including but not limited to EHC's website, email templates, and social media accounts. This individual must be aware of current trends and react quickly to changes in the industry or at EHC Global. They will have frequent interactions with internal and external clients and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional languages would be considered an asset
• College diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media/Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
• A minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or similar field, preferably in a B2B environment
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Working knowledge of WordPress, HTML and Abobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Broad and demonstrated experience and knowledge of social media environments, including Linked-in, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, blogging
• Solid understanding of web and social media analytics such as Google Analytics, and SEO best practices
• A self-starter and results driven with exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Comfortable with new and emerging technologies to effectively leverage marketing campaigns
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
• Self-confident and motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and ensure they are clearly communicated to an audience
