Manager, Account Management At Egencia

Egencia - Expedia Group business travel - is one of the top Travel Management Companies (TMCs) in the world.

We are currently hiring for a Manager, Account Management.

You will be instrumental in developing a new go-to-market strategy for the large-market space and will report directly to a Director of Account Management.

This position requires proven skills in Leadership, Effective Communication, Contract Negotiations, Sales and Account Management, with the ability to understand complex systems and processes, while explaining their attributes clearly and fluently to clients and team members.

What You Will Do:

  • You will lead global alignment and consolidation with the Regional Account Management team, including the development of regional business plans and initiatives
  • Work, and share knowledge and expertise with internal stakeholders on a global basis, including sales, operations, technology, and meetings teams
  • Report figures and key metrics on assigned portfolio of clients
  • You will partner with sales during the selling process to present the value of Egencia Global Account Management
  • Functional expert in change management
  • Work with the Egencia Global Country Managers and marketing teams to develop internal and external reference materials
  • Provide mentoring, training and educational development internally to sales and account management colleagues through regular updates, presentations and ad hoc support, including new hire training
  • Lead client projects and initiatives as required, with ability to guide cross-functional teams to achieve established goals and deliverables as needed

What You Bring:

  • You bring demonstrated leadership skills, team building, effective communication
  • You possess strong working knowledge of Latin America, APAC & European region, geographies, culture and business protocol
  • Ability to build relationships through mutual trust, respect and understanding, and to manage relationships across multiple groups with very diverse backgrounds
  • You are self-motivated with demonstrated strengths managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment and driving them to completion with limited direction
  • Travel will be required at 40%+
  • Expertise in corporate travel industry
  • MBA preferred but not required
