Using a proprietary and patented sales technology platform, eFinancial operates call centers in Chicago and Seattle. eFinancial’s licensed agents and representatives reach thousands of consumers each day to help meet their unique life insurance needs – often with just a single phone call. To complement this channel, the company recently expanded to offer an entirely digital purchase experience.

The Receptionist handle client-facing duties as well as general office management tasks. When our clients or potential candidates walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Answer all Fidelity Life Association and eFinancial phone calls. Transfer calls as needed to the appropriate party.
  • Point of contact for office related service and cleanliness issues, report them to the building and/or the appropriate department
  • Responsible for checking for e-faxes and voice mails throughout day and directing to the appropriate person or department.
  • Sign for and enter all overnight packages and letters into a log and direct to the mailroom.
  • Liaise with the facilities specialist for parking stickers, badge assignment, maintenance issues, etc.
  • Assign, revoke and make changes to employee security badges using security website. Logging badge information into a shared spreadsheet.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, including booking conference rooms when requested by HR team.
  • Support ad-hoc requests from the HR Team which could include generating and distributing company communications, creating and displaying floor notifications, etc.
  • Work with the Executive Assistant and 9th floor Receptionist on ordering, receiving, and maintaining office supplies for the 5th
  • Spot clean the 9th floor which include, reception, kitchen, and all conference rooms to a tidy work environment.
  • Coordinate and assist with the Talent Acquisition team around new hire orientation and new hire photographs.
  • Make popcorn, coffee, and set-up the Village Green for company events.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but will accept High School Diploma.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
  • Thrives in a collaborative work environment.
