East Central Alberta Catholic School Division #16 invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Senior English Teacher at School of Hope in Vermilion, Alberta. Since we are an online school, the successful candidate may choose to work at any of four centers in Alberta (Edmonton/Leduc, Calgary, Lethbridge or Vermilion). This is a full time probationary contract position. Duties are to commence on August 26, 2019 and will terminate on June 29, 2020.

The School of Hope is an on-line school with an office located in Vermilion, Alberta serving students in Grades 1-12 in both Teacher Directed Online Learning and Parent Directed Home Schooling programs. This position will be based out of one of the school’s centers (Edmonton/Leduc, Calgary, Lethbridge or Vermilion) from which the teacher will work on a daily basis. The successful applicant will serve senior students predominantly by providing online lessons, correcting student materials and through interactions on phone, online or through fax.
