Product Manager At Celero

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Job Description

Your Opportunity

As Product Manager you will have direct responsibility creating and managing our network and managed security propositions for existing a new customers and markets. This line of business is core to Celero’s customer groups and critical to Celero’s business strategy.

Day in the Life

Reporting to the Director, Client Solutions, you will be responsible for defining business requirements and lead the evaluation and development of new managed network and security solution offerings through new product development and technology evaluation and implementation. This includes the evaluation and articulation of ROI and risk factors such as staffing, infrastructure, profitability and scalability. The Product Manager will be responsible for evaluating and reporting on services and related technologies available in the market as well as emerging technologies and solutions.

As the Product Manager you will research, track and communicate industry trends, best practices and competitive service offerings to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, increased market share, and competitive advantage for future solutions. In addition, the Product Manager will continuously observe and evaluate current solution offerings and related processes to identify, design and recommend opportunities for improvement and/or greater efficiency.

You will provide product leadership vs just product management and provide a vision for your products vs a single key outcome to sell our team and our customers on the vision of where we’re going now and in the future. You are focused on using customer feedback to iterate to the creation of outcomes for end customers vs just delivering a project. You will work with end customers and the rest of the Celero team to bring research, design and technology to quickly bring great outcomes into the hands of customers. You understand operations and execution, are a customer advocate, and use long term thinking in the delivery of our products and services.

Your Resume

  • Track record of delivering measurable results through product growth and development initiatives

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in IT Security and Networking

  • Strong ability to identify emerging customer needs and service offerings

  • Excellent understanding of sales and marketing of technology-related products/services

  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills

  • Expert level finance modeling and analytic skills

  • 6+ years of work experience in marketing, ideally including product management

  • Completion of a University program (Bachelors)

  • Understanding of IT, specifically the cloud and the managed services industry and the Canadian credit union system is an asset
